Your closet

It's an app to create your virtual wardrobe, try out new looks and even organize a travel suitcase. I did the redesign of the app as a UX and UI study.

Through the analysis of the current app, I found the following problems

  • Initial difficulty in digitizing all wardrobe items, as the process is entirely manual and time-consuming.

  • Difficulty in connecting the pieces to existing outfits, which is also a manual process that takes time.

  • Difficulty in categorizing the pieces.

  • Generic interface for an audience that cares about visuals.

Solution Proposals:

  • Use AI to identify clothing items from outfit photos, so the user would only need to take pictures of their outfits, and the wardrobe would be automatically assembled according to the app's usage.

  • Bringing a more appealing interface to the fashion audience.

Sitemap

I started the project by organizing the information architecture with a sitemap of the app.

Wireframe

From the sitemap, I created the wireframe and low-fidelity prototype of the app.

Onboarding flow

Home

On the home screen are the photos of all the outfits and the collage tab where it's possible to combine pieces to create a new look to test later

Flow for adding outfits

This is the main flow of the app, where the user takes a photo and the AI identifies the pieces to create the wardrobe.

Calendar

In the calendar, it's possible to plan outfits in advance

Closet

In the closet, it's possible to view the items by category and edit the photos.

Interface

The visual was designed with themes, with each category following a color palette. All follow to a simple rule, making development easier.
